Description: Welcome to the dark side! Join Dave Small, Mount Grace's Conservation Director and Athol Bird and Nature Club President, and members of the Mount Grace team to observe and learn about moths at the “Moth Ball” in the meadows of Mount Grace’s Skyfields Arboretum. Though some moths can be seen by day, most moths are out at night. The event will kick off with a presentation about moths at 9 p.m. in the Mount Grace Conservation Barn after which we will explore the pollinator gardens and meadows where light stations will be set up along the paths for moth observation. Bring flashlight, camera, lawn chair, and your sense of adventure! Free and open to all.
